If you're on the fence about pursuing flying lessons, or if you're one of those people who subscribes to the "I'll try anything once" school of thought, then absolutely!

The great thing about a trial flying lesson - such as, for example, our Aeroplane Pilot Land Away packages - is that you get the chance to take on being the pilot at the controls (under the guidance of a CAA qualified instructor) and also observe the flight path from the rear of the plane as the lookout.

So if you find that flying the plane is not really your thing, you might enjoy being the lookout more, or vice versa. Even if you come away from the day and have no intentions of flying a plane ever again, you won't have lost out by just trying it.

In a lot of ways, a trial flying lesson is actually good for helping those who may have a fear of flying that have taken say, one of our Flight Simulator experiences, and want to progress to the next level.
