Almost all of our flying lessons have their session lengths clearly stated in the package title, so i.e. 30 Minutes, 60 Minutes, and you pay for that length of session that's quoted for that package, whether it's an Aeroplane Flying Lesson, Helicopter Flying Lesson or a Gliding Lesson.
Currently, if you're looking to obtain your PPL (Private Pilot's Licence), then you'll need to complete around 60 hours of flight training before you can receive it. The good news is, we do have a couple of packages which offer up several flying lessons bundled into one package, ideal for those just starting out, which will help reduce the costs even in a small way.
As a general rule of thumb, most quoted flight times are 'chock to chock', which is an aviation colloquialism for the time when the aircraft pushes back from the departure gate to arriving at the destination gate.
So in this case, your flight begins from the moment it starts to set off up the runway into the sky, to when it lands on the ground again.
