There's no short answer for this one because it's entirely dependent on what Flying Experience you are doing, what type of aircraft you are flying in and the height and weight restrictions for your journey, however, a rough guide is as follows:
- 2-Seater: just you and your instructor
- 4-Seater: you, instructor and 1x friend/family member
Typically, with 2-seater Flying Lesson it will just be you alongside an experienced instructor who will be a trained professional in the field, whether they come from a commercial flying background, the RAF or worked their way up in the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority.)
With some of our Helicopter Flying Lessons and Aeroplane Flying Lessons in 4-seater aircrafts, often there is the option to invite a friend along to sit in the passenger seat for the duration of the flight, however, this is dependent on the specific experience conditions and the height and weight restrictions. Please make sure to read the package description for more information before booking.
Overall, in most instances it will be you and the instructor on the flight, however, in larger aircrafts, it is sometimes possible to add an extra passenger along with you.
